Over music rights. I'm ticked off. That's one of my favorite scenes in the whole series.
What is the big f***ing deal if songs get released on DVD. The same goes for "Married with Children" having to replace it's theme song for season 3.
I've read a lot of people are upset with the music changes.

Well, you either get Quantum Leap on DVD with different music, or you don't get it at all. These music people are really uptight about their copyrights and want too many $$$$ to use their songs. You would have ended up with a DVD set that cost over $100 if they had used the original songs. I miss the original music, too, but I watch QL for the stories, not the music. Maybe someday these music creeps will stop being so mercenary.

I'd gladly pay over $100 for the music to be in the DVDs. I mean I wouldn't do that for just any show, but Quantum Leap is one of my all-time favorites and I want to see it done right. I know not everybody could afford to spend that much for a one-season set, and so I understand why they would release it the way they did. But it still ticks me off.
