When Universal makes the Second Season on DVD, these episodes I know I will watch first...

"Herman, the Master Spy", "Happy 100th Anniversary", "Will Success Spoil Herman Munster?", "The Treasure of Mockingbird Heights", "Herman's Peace Offensive", "Just Another Pretty Face", "The Fregosi Emerald", "Zombo", "Prehistoric Munster", "A Visit From Johann", "A House Divided", "Herman's Sorority Caper".

Plus I heard there will be bonus features. Some such as...

2 more Pilots
CBS commercials
Syndication promos
Munster, Go Home Trailer and TV spots
CBS newsreels
Wayne & Schuster reveiw

*** Don't forget, TV land combines the opening theme, with the opening transition theme. The Season 2 DVD episodes will not have that.

I imagine I'll do exactly what I did with the first season: Just watch from the start to the finish. :D

I think everybody will watch "Herman's Peace Offensive" first, and you know why.

I don't know, but I remember a cheerios commercial, where Herman was selling breakfast food.

Dirtprod, could you tell us a little about the CBS newsreels?

I was able to find a photo of the cheerios commercial.

I'm not sure what they are. I'd guess it'd be one of those clips where the announcer says stuff like, "And here's Herman Munster, played by actor, Fred Gywnne! He's relaxing during a break from shooting while filming The Munsters, the Thursday night CBS television show in which he stars... You've seen them... If that's not what they are, I don't have a clue. Sorry I can't be of more help...

Happy New Year,

You remember some time ago Image was going to release a DVD set called, The Munsters: America's First Family of Fright?

Well, I figured that Universal will release the 32 episodes, and Image will add the 2-disk Family of Fright set in one big package. Making it a special 5-disk set!! 3 disks with the second season and 2 disks with the bonus features!!!!
