I was thinking that Chet must have gone through three wives within only about 3-4 years brcause there would have been Jack's mom, whoever Shawn's biological mother was, and Vera. Since Jack was only a year older than Shawn and he'd have had to married Vera when Shawn was still only 1 or 2 since he;d asumed Vear was his real mother, it would have only been about 3-4 years.

That's a possibilty, but didn't Chet once say that he and Vera had gotten married really young like at 17? That always made me think that they had been together for alot of years. They could have divorced then Chet married other ladies, then gotten back together or something :confused:

Well, another thing to take into consideration is that Shawn had mentioned having other brothers and sisters, so they could have come from Chet's other marriages. I realize that's most likely a continuity error, but I feel that's the best way to explain it.
