I know it may seem a little bit early, but I was thinking about about an "8 Simple Rules" Spin-off. We all know Bridget's gonna graduate fromn High School this year and go away to college, so if there was an "8 Simple Rules" Spin-off. I'd like to call it "Bridget Hennessy's Diary" or "College Crashed" If anyone has another idea for an "8 Simple Rules" Spin-off. Post your ideas here!

I think the spin-off wouldn't work unless Kerry and Rory were in it too

What if Kerry and Bridget share the same dorm room in College? It could happen...

Struggling maybe, But then again is doing quite well for ABC TGIF

I saw the ratings in the USA Today on Thursday and I don't know what you mean by DOING WELL??

FYI, Friday nights have gone down for EVERY show this season. Even shows like Joan of Arcadia and JAG are way down.

8 Simple Rules & Hope & Faith are the highest rated show on TGIF. They both would get a much bigger audience if they were on Tuesdays.

But I was just saying that the show is currently in no position to spinoff any characters since the parent show doesn't have that large of an audience.

But It is getting harder to write original sitcoms, Sitcoms that would get good ratings.

As Pavan said it is doing well for its Day/Time and Network, The chances of Spin-Offs these days are small but I would not completley rule it out.

Actually,it is hard to write good sitcoms. It isn't the 80's anymore. Back then,there were more ideas. 8 Simple Rules is one of the better sitcoms. Other networks have ran out of ideas,so they try to use old ideas,but they aren't original. 8 Simple Rules,in my opinion is the most original show that I have seen in years compared to all the others. Tgif is just not the same anymore.
