Definitely Eddie! Eddie had better lines, and in my opinion he was a much better actor than Lumpy.

Eddie - hands down.

Of the two, I'd pick Eddie.

I don't like either of them. Eddie's sleezy and Lumpy was often obnoxious to the Beaver. Lumpy also needed another 30 IQ points just to move up to dumb. But both characters worked well within the show and made nice contrasts to Wally, who was my fav character & just an all around good guy. Liked Ward a lot too.
