Marlins Move to Vegas?

Las Vegas deserves a baseball team. They are one of the fastest growing cities in America. Maybe this news will push the state of Florida to get that new stadium done. It is way overdue.

Joe Robbie/Pro Player Stadium (which opened about five years before the Marlins debuted) was never intended to be a multi-purpose place to begin with. I have no idea why the Florida Marlins and/or the city of Miami couldn't have gotten a real stadium deal locked down from the very beginning (much like their 1990s expansion counterparts the Colorado Rockies & Arizona Diamondbacks).

If the Marlins don't get the new stadium deal in time then I would suggest the following alternatives:
