I was told by my 4th grade teacher and my principal to "quit tattling" every time I told them I got the **** beat out of me by my ******* classmates. I didn't tell them in those exact words either.
Michael [hXc] 12-09-2004, 09:14 PM ever since my ex-friend Scott told on me for telling him he looked like Clay Aiken (who he hates), i realized telling was wrong :grr:

I wouldn't tell, because when you tell, the person might get pissed at you for running to an adult and make it worse. I'd just do my best to ignore the person.

Well if someoneis constantly making your life miserable i wouldnt ignore the person, id tell your parents or something. You cant just ignore it.

You should punch your ex-friend square in the nose twice. One for looking like Clay, and two for being a bitch.
ThirteenInchEscape 12-09-2004, 09:32 PM we used to have bullying assemblies all the time, where they would encourage us to tattle...in those words...is it just me, or is that not a good way to convince people to inform the teachers?

If i get bullied, i would tell my parents and no one else, cept maybe my friends.
MaryElizabeth 12-09-2004, 09:37 PM Yeah but if you get black and blue everyday, the school is supposed to do something about it, instead of saying "quit tattling."

Exactly.
Don't be a snitch, unless someone is getting (physically) hurt.

bullying isn't as light of a subject as most people think it is, though. it often causes serious emotional problems during and after being victimized.
some girl told on me last year because i spat in her hair. i didn't care, i didn't even get punished. that *****. earlier she threw a basketball at me and almost knocked the air out of me and i didn't do anything.

Hey Stamosgirl
I don't know if I can help you with your problem but I want to tell you this. Ignore the jerks here who are giving you a hard time about your spelling. I understood what you said and if some people can't, then thats their problem, not yours.

 I agree. There's no need to come in here and act like an ******* just because she's not spelling everything correctly. If you can't help her out, then that's fine. But being jerk and ganging up on her is pretty stupid.
Stamosgirl, just go with your gut feeling and do what you feel is best.

That's not the point, and we're not jerks. I can't stand it when people jump on others just for using words like "ppl" and "4ever" like they're the Internet Grammar Police but the way the post was put together is hard to understand and didn't make sense, it's not just the spelling.
ThirteenInchEscape 12-10-2004, 01:27 AM Also, in all fairness, someone being high in class isn't exactly something you go on the internet to ask for advice about.
I thought I was missing something simply because her posting about such a thing didnt make sense.

Actually it is
in my experience with subs if one kid acts up we all go through hell when the teacher comes back.
