I will be buying Everybody Loves Raymond Season 1 and 2 on Tuesday for my mom for Christmas. She wants it really bad.

I think that's actually correct.

I wish other members of my family had a DVD player, then I could have the excuse of buying some of these to give to them as Christmas gifts. I'd still be able to watch/borrow them.

none immediately. I already have both Family Guy sets so no need for a best of just to have 5 extras seconds in one episode

A DVD player isn't a bad idea for a gift... Wal-Mart had them for $29!!! the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Just say "hey, I figured you would like this, so I thought I'd pick it up for you. I'll just keep it with my collection."

I haven't received the Fat Albert box yet, but I checked it out in the store today. Looks like a decent package, the front cover has the characters outlines embossed. It looked heavy on late 70s/early 80s episodes though. Fat Albert fans should probably wait for the sequential releases coming out next year.

EDIT: Never mind.

Nada. Like BuffySlayer, I can't justify paying $15 for one measly scene on the Family Guy DVD, considering I own both of the Volume sets. Sure there are new audio commentaries, and previews of Season 4 and American Dad...but I'll still pass.
