View Full Version : Weirdest Things You've Ever Put In A Microwave?
Caffeine King 12-08-2004, 11:14 PM Me, you ask?
Countless gummy worms/bears
Lightning bug
a Reeses Fast Break
I think a roach
That's it!
The Reeses thing was in there for 2 minutes and it was SMOKING when I opened the door! :p
The lightning bug's ass was like expanding and then it fell flat on the floor...
The gummy worms/bears just bubble into goo and eventually turn black....those smoke too (and smell!)
So...what about you guys? :D
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 12-08-2004, 11:20 PM You put bugs in there? That's so sad :(
Hmm...I put a peep/marshmellow in once. Nothing special. It's fun to see them get big, though...for simple minded people like me anyway.
Dutabi84 12-08-2004, 11:21 PM Glue. It asploded.
laceyinthesky 12-08-2004, 11:21 PM I stopped doing these kinds of things too long ago to remember what my answer would be.
Ok no, I can proudly say I haven't put anything odd in a microwave. Having common sense can do that to you. ;)

Brent88 12-08-2004, 11:27 PM A GOLF BALL!
We used to run a golf course from 1994-2002 and I got bored one day(happened a lot) and wanted to know what would happen.
It exploded.
Chad22 12-08-2004, 11:42 PM I Put a Poptart in once without taking it out of the wrapper. I Had no idea those werent supposed to be in the microwave until i looked inside and seen SPARKS OF ELECTRICITY.
Needless To Say, The Poptarts didnt taste very good.
Kazza 12-08-2004, 11:44 PM "Stick your head in the microwave and give yourself a tan" Dare to be Stupid:cool:
Caffeine King 12-08-2004, 11:57 PM  You guys are making me sound like a killer!
I stepped on the lightning bug by mistake but it was still half alive.
:p I have common sense but I just get bored and wanna see what happens! I'm adventureous! :p

I did the same thing, only it was a frozen stick of butter (we didn't have any soft butter at the time). Bad mistake. :o

That happened to me recently. I was getting ready to cook and only had 'frozen butter'. I put it in the microwave and went away, when I went back there was butter EVERYWHERE:lol:
Kay Scarpetta 12-09-2004, 04:26 PM I stuck a CD in there once. I was curious... it exploded and was like a supernova for a few seconds. All wisps of smoke and sparks. Pretty neat.

Here's another adventure for you: Heat a jawbreaker in the microwave, then eat it. ;)
Caffeine King 12-09-2004, 07:15 PM
Anybody ever stick ice cream in the microwave to defrost/soften it?
I do...but there's no neat stories there. :p
CDs, golf balls? I'd be scared that it'd make the whole microwave explode!
I feel more comfortable with lightning bugs and roaches. ;)
