Who was your fav character??
I thought they were ALL funny. But i'd say granny is my favirote!

I agree because Granny is just the funniest, even though they are all funny.

Granny is so limited by the old ways of the hills and her own experiences she is funny.
Jed is so rustically honest he is funny.
Jethro has such a ridiculously opposite perception of himself than is true, he is funny.
Elly Mae is so determined to remain a 'wild child' in the most civilized of places that she is funny.
Drysdale is so driven by money and and those who have it he is funny.
Jane Hathaway is smart, loyal, competent, restrained-- she is so UNfunny she is funny.

The only way Granny is more entertaining than the others is that she is more extreme in a cast of extremes.

I have to go with Jethro as being the funniest. Perhaps because he was so proud to have a 6th grade education. Also the way he would put away food.

But it is very close between Jethro, Granny, Jed and Mr Drysdale. I loved the entire cast of the show, this is clearly one of my all-time favorite sitcoms.

All the charactors are funny. The B.H.'s is one funny show. :lol: The other day when Jed was sneaking out of the house to avoid 'Spring Cleaning' with Granny, she yells "Slacker!!! . I've been laughing about that for a week now. But I gotta admit Mr. Drysdale might just be my favorite. But they're all pretty funny. I love it when Jethro is Cypherin'. And Jane Hathaway! Who ever said she's so unfunny, she's funny. So they're all hilarious.
