I'm surpised a show as popular as the Jeffersons is claiming to be slow in sales. Isn't that's the reason why it is taking so long? TvShowAnalyzer, do you have any latest news?

No I haven't heard anything at all. It's a shame that shows like GoodTimes and Sanford and Son are always in syndication while the Jeffersons is not shown anywhere. My guess is that season 2 must have only sold 20 copies which probably is the reason there is any rush to put season 3 on DVD

It's here in NYC.

What I don't understand is that TV Land was showing the Jeffersons at the time when seasons 1 and 2 were out. That was promoting it there. There was a rumor that season 3 was coming in January, but I haven't heard anything since. What they should do is when they do bring season 3, bring 4 and 5 as well like they did Friends.

Well everyone doesn't live in NYC, and I meant that isn't seen Nationally in Syndication.

Yeah, like we all are going to NYC just to watch The Jeffersons.

Let's just say Sony is screwed up when it comes to TVDVDs :rolleyes: I read that it's Sony's fault that there is no Mad About You Season 3, cause they charged more for the 2nd Season which caused sales to be bad, don't know if that's true or not, but seriously it wouldn't surprise me.

Plus Sony is very SLOW with releases, I mean it was a good amount of time for the All in the Family relases as well

Sorry but one has nothing to do with the other, Friends is owned by Warner Bros. not Sony, and Friends is a top selling DVD as well :)
