I Dont Know...Last year Big House temporarily replaced Married To The Kellys. Both were awesome sitcoms.

Neither of them came back this year.

It would be pretty hard for any of them to cross over with LTP, and I can't really see a situation where they would be able to. It's a Workplace Sitcom, while the rest are more centered around families.

Anybody like the show Two & a Half Men? I started watching it last year because I was a fan of Charlie Sheen (from Spin City). That show is one of the best sitcoms on today, IMO.

Too Bad CBS Doesnt cancel it and ABC Picks it up. That looks like it would fit in great on TGIF.

They just don't make 'em like the once did. You know, I used to feel that way...But during the past couple years I've actually transitioned to liking new sitcoms BETTER than older ones. Of course, Happy Days and MacGyver all still beat the new shows I'm a fan of out, but as a general rule new sitcoms rank higher on my lists than all older Sitcoms and TV shows besides HD and MacGyver.

Same Here. I Went years Watching nothing new but Simpsons & Malcolm. :lol:

Older sitcoms just dont compare to me anymore, Cause the humor was so different. Slapstick stuff like I Love Lucy and Threes Company is still great, But I Get bored watching some old show where they tell corny jokes and stuff.

Lucy was good at physical comedy. I read that she and John Ritter were good friends (probably because they had that in common), and that's why they made guest appearances on each-other's shows.

There are LOTS of great shows in the 70's-80's and early 90's... alot of which are MUCH better than which are on today. Wings...Cheers... you can beat that off-the -wall comedy. It's something that I'm afraid we'll never see again. It's being replaced with fluff and reality.

Andy Griffith show gets downright sickening after awhile. Its a good show to relax sometimes and watch, But its not funny. Don Knotts is the only one on there that ever makes me laugh...And his best days were on Threes Company.

Another show i dont care for anymore is Sanford & Son. They repeated the same jokes OVER And OVER.

And I don't classify all modern shows in the same "class" as friends. Friends ran from 94-04. It's modern. I can use it to compare with some of today's shows. That's not saying there all on that same level...it's just "a level" :)

I Had a GREAT Time watching the Staff of TV Land watch the Friends finale, Though.

I agree with S&S, not so much the jokes thing, but because I've seen the same episodes OVER and OVER and OVER... it just gets old. Red Foxx is a great actor however, and he was great as Sanford.

I did get a few episodes a while back of the 1980-81 show Sanford, which only had Red Foxx in it. It had some new jokes (new situation, new jokes), and was a pretty good show, IMO. Of course, it's hard to find.

I Still Like AITF In Moderation, But i've seen that enough times too (Although it has ALOT More rewatchability than Sanford & Son).

I Like The Jeffersons too, Its my favorite of the Lear sitcoms. I Have the first 2 seasons on DVD.

Plus, All in the Family has 211 episodes (even if you don't include ABP).

I love the Jeffersons...but it's not on any more. :(

I was really disappointed when AITF season3 came out with no season 3 of The Jeffersons. I was hoping to pick them up in one swoop.

I Have one AITF DVD And 2 Sanford & Sons. I Probably wont buy anymore since i can see them on TV Anytime i want.

I Would buy every season of the Jefferson's if i had the Money and they released them all.

I have all three AITF's and both of The jeffersons. I know you can see it on tv, but there's nothing like a crystal-clear restored Archie screaming "You dumb Meathead". :lol: Plus, you get all the stuff that's been cut out.

Sadly, I'm getting the feeling that The Jeffersons 1&2 dvd's are going to become collector's items. :(

Almost forgot about Quintuplets. I Liked that too.

Kinda stopped watching it though, Since its on at the same time as Smallville.

I remember just as the sun went down over the horizon the snow began to come down really heavy and continued nonstop until the next afternoon. I think it ended as a touch of freezing rain or something because that night I went for a walk in the snow and there was a sheet of ice over everything. Looked like glass. :lol:

It started snowing at my house around 1 and it was like medium.
when we started walking down to Mobil. It started getting heavy once we got into the development and started walking up hill and was blinding the closer we got to the house.

I remember calling in the next day cause there was no way I could get out of my driveway.

Paul Kocin was talking about it on The Weather Channel. There was a swath of Heavy snow from Illinois to east New York.

I remember logging on here Christmas day and Janice was ticked off at the blizzard her family was supposed to be coming over for dinner. :lol:
