I don't know, week of Chistmas I guess. **** ****. It always used to be 2 weeks, now it's one.

Don't know.. don't care.. as long as it's days off from school.

Has to be more than that... at least 10 days or so. I've never seen it shorter than precisely 2 weeks.

Mine is December 20th -26th and i have the 31st off of dec too..

Finals are next week and then after that I don't have to go back until late January.

I remember when I was in school we got almost two weeks off for Christmas Break, we usually didn't go back til like January 5th or so.

I can even remember then that they even celebrated President's Day as two separate days, not observed as just one day as it is now

If Christmas is on a Wednesday or Thursday.... we have 2 weeks off.

If it's on a Monday, Tuesday, or Friday -- we get a week and a half.

It's on a Saturday this year, we get Christmas Eve, and the following week.


As for President's Day.... we get an entire week off.
Mainly because it saves the schools a lot of money on heating, seeing that it is traditionally the coldest week of the year (well, it was when this started)

Last final is on December 15. Then the Spring semester begins on January 18. A good month off for me. :D

That is messed up. Schools here have always had at minimum exactly 2 weeks out, regardless of when Christmas falls.

2000 it was Wednesday December 20-Wednesday January 3(Christmas was on Monday).

**** COLLEGE. when i get out of high school (in two years) i'm gonna go look for a record deal. i decided on that early this year and i've been working long and hard on it since then. i think i'm gonna take a year off first though. just to feel relaxed, going august through may without attending school, having to worry about dumb ass assignments, etc. something i haven't done since i was a toddler. in fact, if i were to be guaranteed that nothing i'll apply for in my life will require a high school diploma, i'd gladly drop my ass out right now. i want to finish high school just in case. I start College on January 10.

From both work and school, mine is between December 17 through January 2nd. ;)
