Any idea when it's coming?!

Amazon.com doesn't have anything about it up yet... they usually have dates for things that are set to be released...

It was a year ago today that it was announced Season 1 was coming out. Hopefully we'll hear something soon about Season 2. Today is also the 29th anniversary of the premiere of "Laverne and Shirley" on ABC.

Maybe the reason that there is no news of a Season 2 release is because there isn't going to be one. Perhaps sales on the first season were poor and they've halted the release of further seasons. I hope this isn't the case, as I love the show, but it could be a possibility. This is what happened to another fave of mine, The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Season 1 didn't sell well enough and plans for more seasons are cancelled. The thing is, with these older shows, there's a lot more required to clean them up and it adds to the expense for the sellers. If they don't sell well enough, they don't bother releasing anymore.

Anyone know exactly how well Season 1 did?

I'm just hoping that all this foot dragging will lead to extra features!there IS hope for those special features; Paramount's Season 1 of the Brady Bunch has some audio commentaries, interviews and a picture gallery (?i think?) - not much, but it IS a sign that they are relaxing their "no EXTRAS" policy. :)

I'm very tempted to get "The Brady Bunch" on dvd! I love that show so much!

We need a petition 2 bring L&S season 2 to dvd! That's why they finally released Sweet Valley High & Who's The Boss 2 dvd! :)

Well all three seasons of Wonder Woman came out like three months or so in between, I really would have thought that it would have taken longer but I was surprised. I ended up getting all three seasons. And IMO, I would have thought that it wouldn't have sold that well; I love the show though! I just didn't think that it would do that good of a job as L&S.

keep in mind that, after dropping the price of season 1, and bumping up the promotion, they managed to sell a LOT more copies of MTM and they HAVE changed their minds and announced the second season of THAT show...

i dont know anything about sales figures (wouldn't we ALL like to know), but I 'm not going to give up hope for L&S Season 2.

hopefully the wait will pay off but probably not cause we're talking about paramount, here. paramount isn't a company who usually abandons the series they start to release. to my knowledge, it's never been done.

What I don't understand is, Happy Days isn't out either. I'd think that show would do well in sales. Also, if TVLAND would play Happy Days in the afternoon or evening rather than 4:30 in the morning....more younger fans could join the fandom, and increase sales.
