December 6, 2004 - I know everyone is now waiting for the season 4 set to be released. Fear not, I have a date for the set now! It will be released May 3, 2005, pending any last minute changes. The set will feature all 25 episodes from season four packed with tons of special features including all-new interviews and best of clips of characters. Stay tuned in the coming months for cover arts and full info on the special features!

The season four set is already produced, so I can't do anything about them not including the best of clips. Seasons 5-8 all depend on the sales, so please buy the S1-4 sets. I would imagine the best of clips will continue if those seasons are released, since they have been on the previous three sets.

I'm so excited about this release! I just got Seasons 2 & 3 as a gift last weekend.

Is it going to have the Ropers episode that Jack, Janet, and Chrissy were in? I'd also like to see commentary on more than one episode, perhaps from a director or even Joyce or Richard.

I think those episodes were on the 3rd season? if so that makes me think they will release The Ropers on dvd:D

I'll email Anchor Bay about the spinoffs, but hearing that there's a good chance that seasons 5 - 8 of TC may all eventually be released on dvd is very good news.

I also asked them for Battle of the Network Stars every season on DVD!! That was the funniest "Reality TV Series" back in the 1970's -80's.. It was a show where we got to see the 3 Network's Stars battle each other in tug of war, racing, swimming.

Joyce Dewitt was on there!!! I think Suzanne Sommes was on there too!! :cool: :wave: EVERYONE should email them again and ask for (Every Season un cut of "Battle of the Network Stars")

Unfortunately, there were no clear versions of season three and/or four bloopers available. Season 3 DVD had more season 2 bloopers. Season 2 DVD had season two bloopers.

According to amazon.com -- Season 5 is coming October 4. But first season 4 of course is out May 3.

Yup, they plan on releasing them if sales do well. I know Season 5 is due sometime this October...so, if the sales are good for that(and Season 4 being released on Tuesday! :dance: )then I don't see why it wouldn't. I hope they release all of them on DVD!! So, keep buying and it just might, fans! :)

They ("Moving In" and "Stanley, The Ladies Man") were not originally Three's Company episodes. They are a part of The Ropers series, and are shown as Three's Company episodes in syndication. If and when the Ropers make it out on DVD, you'll seee both of these episodes then.

this news is great. i knew from the amazon rankings that sales were good enough so we can see seasons 6-8. too bad about 8 simple rules though. The Ropers AND Three's A Crowd sounds like its getting the green light soon also!
