Hi, Dose anyone elese remember the case of a collage girl who was beaten nearly to death in her apartment. Her mom found her. Though she had brain damage when she woke up she was still able to name her assalint "Wadada". This was a nick name for a possibly Jamacan Man who went to collage with her. He beat her with a hammer. He had a deformity on one of his hands. His fingers were permanently bent on one hand. I don't remember the girls name. Did they ever catch him?

This case has been mentioned a few times on this board, and as far as I know, there has been no update. This really surprised me, as I would have thought this person would be easy to track down with his distinguishing features. It was a really sad story, and so I hope they catch him. If I remember right, it was kind of a creepy reenactment as well.

I can't belive they still have not solved it because as you said he had ver distinguishing features. I just joined the board so i was unaware it had previously been posted.

I remember this story. The victim's name was Sarah Beard (sp?)
No update that I'm aware of. I don't think the guy went to school with her, btw. He was just a drifter that hung around the campus. As someone else said, he was not from this country, and may have fled to back to wherever he was originally from.
