Ok, particularly I'm a fan of Gilligan/Maryann and Professer/Ginger shipping. Who do you guys like to be together in a fanfic?

Professor Roy Hinkley and Mary Ann Summers. So it shall be written (by me, some day), so it shall be done. She's smarter than the average bear, and I think Roy realizes this. She's sweet and kind, but hardly squeamish, and him being a scientist and all, he'd like that. She's certainly not afraid of hard work, just like he isn't! I think she's got a natural understanding of, well, NATURE and what Roy doesn't know, I'm sure Mary Ann can teach, heh heh.

Thurston and Lovey. Okay, this was obvious. For some reason, they love one another.

Skipper and Ginger. I always pictured Ginger liking the gruff, strong sea captain type, not some shallow poseur in Hollyweird. And Jonas, he can sure appreciate a beautiful woman and would want to cosset her like Ginger requires.

Gilligan and, um.... well, he'll just have to save himself for marriage on the Mainland.

I've always shipped Prof/Ginger, they just seemed to make sense to me as a couple. And Mary-Ann/Gilligan, because they both have this simplicity to them but Gilligan needs to have someone strong, and that's Mary-Ann. Someone who's not going to run roughshod over his feelings.

Oh, well, I think MA/Gilligan would be cute, and very plausible, but I prolly wouldn't write it. I've read some excellent fic with them together, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I personally like MAP, which is why they're married in my crossover. I'm going to do one where they get together on the island, some day. Hope I can do it as well as the stories I've read!

Yeah... *Sigh* My favorite TV couple should have been (besides Daisy Duke and Enos Straite) Yeah, MAG rocks too, butI'm sorry, MAP just doesn't work for me, and GAG makes me well, gag! (so corny I know) But seriously Ginger/Professor... MaryAnn/Gilligan. I'm not being to traditional, i'm being honest! That's the way it should be. But I do respect the people who are Maryann/professor, Ginger/skipper, and the few but prowd Ginger/Gilligan shippers. Everyone is entitled to an opinion!
