just wondering for some reson i always liked stan even though he did what he did to dorothy i couldnt help but feel sorry for the poor schlub and you could tell he still really cared about dorothy i liked miles until the golden palace ep. where he cheated on poor rose and then when rose confronted him about it he gave her some lame excuese about how because she moved across town and he couldnt get over to see her he started seeing someone else what kind of garbage is that a man cant go 10 miles to see his girlfriend?

The episodes of the Golden Palace featuring Stan and Miles are exactly why I didn't like that show. As for actual Golden Girls appearances, I would say Stan. He was hysterical and the perfect foil for Bea Arthur. Miles was good too, but he'd never beat Stan as the best recurring man on the show.

Stan all the way. he was definitely a "yutz" but i liked him better than miles...i liked miles too though, but it seemed like stan was more laid back and miles was more nervous..
