You probably all noticed that I haven't been posting a lot lately.
This had a reason......
I was very busy with some important things that are happening in my life right now!

OK OK HERE'S THE NEWS:

I'm going to have a BABY!!
If all goes well its due in June.
My hubby and I are very happy!
I'm also very tired so usually I'm in bed by now.
But it's getting better because I entered the 4th month this week now so my energy level is going up slowly.
So guys I'll be posting more in the weeks to come.

Congratulations! Do you have any ideas yet on baby names? Maybe name a girl with Cybill or Madolyn in it somewhere or a boy with Bruce or David in it somewhere???

I don't think you'll get THAT big -- she was carrying around at least 14 to 15 lbs. of babies!!!!!!

She had two normal sized babes in there - most twins do not weigh that much. I think it's because she's so tall that she could carry that much around.

YIKES!

How come when I was preggers, EVERYTHING else on my body got that big EXCEPT my stomach. I hope I didn't eat too much.:D

Hi guys and dolls!
Here's a pic of the 3D ultrasound of my baby still in the womb, made two weeks ago.
As you can see the little Moonlighter is already a PRETTY GIRL/BOY!!
Now this is what WE call A Womb with a View!!

That's a great pic! Is that from a regular ultrasound or one of those new ones? Looks like dark hair from my point of view (and lots of hair!!!). :wave:

Any hints on the male/female stuff? Heart rate worked for me all 4 times.

This is 3D Kis! It's new and great!
The dark thingy on the head is not hair but the little opening in the skull.
We call it "fontanel".
I'm not sure about the english word.
It's that soft spot on the head when the baby is born.
We have no clue if it's a boy or girl but we have a feeling that it's a boy.
I dunno why?!

Too bad you were having the baby here in Canada - you'd get a whole year off! Or you could take six months and your husband could take the last six months. We've got really good maternity leaves over here.

Too bad I never had kids!! No time off for adopting a dog!! ;) :lol:

Oh we do have a special parenting leave after the maternity leave, thats 13 times your weekly workinghours.
So for me its an extra 416 hours which I can take for a whole year, so I take a day every week and work for only 3 days.The extra day of leave is paid 50%.
My hubby can do the same, but he's in no rush because you can take this leave untill your child is 8 years old.
We also have a special maternity leave that's non-paid and only for mothers.
I believe thats also 416 hours.
So a lot to choose from.
BTW we expect to go to Canada next year with our little Moonlighter.
We have family in Vancouver, I love that city!

No no new pics, sorry, the last ones were the 3d's allthough I don't think you have seen them all.
I will attach the others too.
We all have a feeling that it's a boy and we don't know why!
So the greater the fun will be if it's a girl hehehehe
Almost everybody thinks it's a boy.
Oh and in Holland Mothersday is on the first Sunday in may.
I already got a present from my hubbie!
What did you get ?

On the first one you can see both feet crossed and the fists above the feet,and you can even count the toes and see the enklebone!

On the second one you see 2 more shots of it's little head.
And the dark spot on the head is the space between the two skull parts.

It's getting more exciting every day!
Only 3 more weeks to go......
I'm getting a little nervous now. :p

Taz - have you gained much weight? I gained about 40 lbs. with each of my kids and they only weighed between 6 and 7 lbs. each!!! I didn't even eat too much - my body just gained the weight. I was always envious of my friends who would eat 2 Whoppers and french fries and milkshakes etc. and gain only 25 to 30 lbs. during their pregnancies.

Till now it's 30 lbs Kis, but I still have 3 weeks to go.
Hope it stays like this, I think it's enough.
Fortunately it's a lot of water, I have really blown up hands and feet.
But no fat around the buns, only a very big belly!!
It's all baby and belly, so I hope to lose the weight fast when my little Moonlighter sees the daylight! :D ;)
