I love it. The funny part was towards the end, Dabney Coleman said to Lily Tomlin, "I'm going to have you 3 b-tches put in jail."

i liked it but the only thing i didnt understand was instaed of trying to get back at a moron like dabney why didnt these 3 very smart women pool ther money and start ther own businnes. that would have really hit him where it hurt.

Violet: "I have to go grocery shopping. We're out of everything- cat food, fish food, ant spray, rat poison..."

I love this movie. My favorite parts of this movie were their fantasies and the cleaning lady's discovery of the corpse in the bathroom. "Hey Vera, we got another stiff in the john." :lol:

I know one of scenes spoofed "Snow White" a true Disney classic.:)

OMG, one of my favorite lines from the movie!!! As you can see from my sig, I love this movie, too. My 2nd all-time favorite movie after Tootsie(which also has Dabney Coleman in it, playing, of course, a creep in that one, too.). And to think that 9 to 5 was originally supposed to be a drama, but when the director went to interview secretaries and asked them how they would get back at their bosses, alot of the stories were just too funny!!

I loved the ending credits when he tries changing the channel on the TV with the wrong remote and the security thing pulls him up off the bed. :lol: He's swinging back and forth and they do a freeze frame.

The song at the beginning of the movie wasn't even a hit until 1981 it was #1 on the Billboard charts. IMO, Sheena Easton had the song "Morning Train (9 to 5)" was referring to a Dolly Parton song. These were just same titles. I have the song on cassette.
