View Full Version : "Leave it to Wally"
Tonyd 12-03-2004, 01:03 AM Sometimes when I read through the posts on this board, it seems like we talk more about Wally than Beaver or any of the other characters! Has anyone else noticed this?
Maybe it should have been called "Leave it to Wally!" :bump
HaskellGirl 12-03-2004, 12:49 PM Its true!!! I wonder why???
Tonyd 12-03-2004, 01:50 PM Well I'm sure the female posters admire him for obvious reasons, and the guys are probably jealous of his good looks and all. Personally I am jealous of him for getting a "letter" in school, which I never did!
duluthduke 12-03-2004, 04:39 PM It does seem like we spend an awful lot of time talking about Wally!
Mayfieldgirl 12-03-2004, 05:11 PM Now that you mention it, I think we do!:)
howilu 12-03-2004, 06:17 PM I definitely agree. It seems that Tony Dow is popular with this board's female posters. In the show's later run, a majority of the episodes centered around Wally instead of Beaver.

Not everybody can be as big a jock as Wally was, Tonyd!
HaskellGirl 12-03-2004, 07:36 PM Didn't he get 4 letters???
But its too bad he wasn't able to get an athletic scholarship with all that!! You would think he would be able to get SOME sort of scholarship though, for being such a great athlete and such a good student.

Wally got 4 letters and I couldn't even get one! I imagine if they had shown him going to College he would have gotten a scholarship though. :D

Tonyd 12-05-2004, 11:16 PM I felt sorry for Wally tonight having to be driven by Evelyn! :bump
HaskellGirl 12-06-2004, 02:40 PM I don't!! I think he was being kinda silly about it. ;)

I was picturing myself in the same situation and I wouldn't have been very happy!
~*KristenCleaver*~ 12-06-2004, 06:26 PM What's wrong with a girl driving? LOL.

Hi Kris! I wouldn't want one driving me around!
~*KristenCleaver*~ 12-06-2004, 06:36 PM Hey AJ! LOL if my husband had a problem with me driving, he would get a spanking! :whip

A husband might be different but I am not going on a date and have the girl drive!
~*KristenCleaver*~ 12-06-2004, 06:44 PM I could understand that because sometimes the girl thinks it is more polite if the guy drives, but it seems to be getting less and less like that since it is the 21st century. So, if the girl really wanted to drive I don't see any problem with it. JMO anyway.
Tonyd 12-06-2004, 06:47 PM As you know that was a big problem for me before I got my license!
~*KristenCleaver*~ 12-06-2004, 06:50 PM Here is what I have to say to that:
Perverted Smiley! :happyface

Hi Kristen! I totally agree! :D
HaskellGirl 12-06-2004, 10:44 PM How come Ward went ballistic because Wally was wearing his shirt? I mean...its not a big deal! I can see him not being happy about it, but I think he went overboard...Ward used to go ballistic in earlier episodes, but it was funny back then. Now he's much more stern..
Tonyd 12-07-2004, 12:40 AM I also thought he was that way more in the earlier episodes HaskellGirl! After Beaver saw him go after Wally then he was afraid to say anything! :D
