Hello Lucy Lovers. I'm hoping there is someone out there who can help me. I am an Instructor for some of our brave soldiers who are training to be intelligence collectors. Part of their training involves the use of interpretors. As a HUGH fan of I Love Lucy, I remember an episode from season five called Paris at Last where Lucy gets arrested for passing counterfit money. While in jail, she must communicate with the Chief of Police but she can't speak French. So, after gathering everyone together, they go through several translators who speak several different languages. It is truly a funny and classic skit. It would be a great icebreaker for my class and at the same time stress how difficult it is to convey your meaning and point of view while speaking with foreigners. Does anyone out there have episode #145, first aired on 2/27/56. It would have to be from a private collection since it has not been released for sale yet. I really only need that one part of the show. Please help me put a little bit of fun into one of the dryest subjects on the face of the planet. Thank you all in advace.
