The one where the japanese were about to buy the whole block of where they lived. They offered the Sanfords more money than they could possibly dream of and Fred got greedy and wanted more. They up the price and Fred screwed it up. When Fred finally gave in, it was too late. Damn, Fred, ya'll could have been bankin'! He was my favorite character, hands down, but I guess favorite characters are entitled to annoy fans at time.

That one wasnt the one where he really annoyed me. the one where he really blew it was in Steinberg and Son. he could have at anywhere from 200 thousand to a million bucks. but didnt wanna hurt rollo's cousin what a big dummy. only took 200 a week and a series title/credit

The end of the Steinberg and Son episode was funny when Fred came down the stairs all decked out in his hollywood garb (robe an sunglasses and all that) and then found out the show was cancelled.

Fred: "Grady...isnt it about time to get it on!
(asking him to turn the TV on)
Grady: "Anytime your ready F.S."

Fred was a little over the top in the episode where he faked amnesia and went to the hospital just because Lamont would not buy him a new color TV with remote control. I could not blame Lamont for wanting that nifty little sports car. How on Earth could he take out a date in that old heap of a truck.

Yeah but he was a dummy about the car too. who buys a car new or used that needs painting. see all that ugly gray paint/primer over parts of the blue car

I didn't like when he broke up Grady's romance. They might've stayed together if Fred hadn't acted like a jerk.
