...I just received my DVD this week and have been enjoying them big time. One of my favorite episodes was when barney arrested the whole town while Andy was away- for eight hours. How can you lock up so many folks that quick?:D

I have really been enjoying the season 1 episodes! But I have to say that I am really disappointed that there are no extras on this set, and that you can't select scenes. I guess The Dick Van Dyke Show season sets spoiled me. They are so incredibly well done and truly set the standard for what a classic TV season set should be. I'm loving TAGS episodes, but I just wish there were more to this set.

A better question than how Barn arrested all those people in such a short time is what kind of population does Mayberry have. Except for Opie we saw no kids in those cells and there had to be between 30-50 people in there locked up. Mayberry's pop. should be at least 900 is one to conclude there are around 50 (tops) adults and 850 minors in Mayberry? THey were too emphatic that Barn had arrested the entire town. But we outright have to forget kids as, again, except for Opie there were none locked up and the Taylor youth is certainly not sole the child resident of Mayberry.

He's Barney. And we all know that Barney was one man who had it going on. I say Kudos to you, Sir!
