Here is a shortened version of my list sorted chronologically:

JFK assassination:
CBS - 6 hours starting with "As the World Turns"
NBC - 6 hours.

Oswald Shooting:
ABC (WFAA) - 5 minutes live broadcast.
CBS - 30 minutes live broadcast.

Martin Luther King assassination - CBS Evening News.

RFK assassination:
CBS - 5 hours. (also have 2 hours of funeral coverage)
NBC - 1 hour, 40 minutes beginning 13 minutes after shooting.

Apollo 11:
ABC - 6 hours.
CBS - 4 hours.
NBC - 3, 1/2 hours.

George Wallace Shooting - CBS Evening News.

Gerald Ford Inauguration - ABC Evening News.

Ronald Regan Shooting - ABC Nightline report.

Challenger Explosion - 2 hours CNN coverage starting with liftoff.

Rodney King - very early news reports.

O.J. Simpson Trial Verdict:
CNN - 3, 1/2 hours.
MSNBC - 6 hours(?)

Release of Bill Clinton's Grand Jury Testimony - 6 hours off CNN.

9/11
ABC - first hour.
CBS - first ten minutes.
CNN / MS NBC - 12 hours.
Fox - first hour.

First airstirkes against the Taliban - CNN / MSNBC - 6 hours.

Capture of Saddam Hussein - 2 hours off NBC.
