Mcdonald's stop selling SUPERSIZE? No of the workers don't know the answer.

Because of junk lawsuits. People who sue because they eat it all and then complain when they gain weight. That's the reason they said.

PR Move to "help" in the fight to curb obesity. It's stupid. People can just order two large fries.

I agree! Maybe if people would take a few seconds and read how much fat is actually in most of that fast food they would re-consider and eat more healthfully!

Dude, I haven't eaten at McDonald's in 5 years. It's obvious what that **** does to people. And I believe they're saying we're the most obese country in the world. How embarrasing.

I used to have it a lot but than I started getting EXTREMLEY heavy, and now i barely ever eat it..once a month at the least :eek:

See, that's the thing though, people have gotten so lazy that they don't want to take the 10 minutes to make their lunch, unfortunately. Even the fast food salads aren't any better. I like Wendy's chicken mandarin salad but the oriental dressing that comes with it is 19 grams of fat per package!! I don't like the selection of the low fat dressings they offer.

I've started eating more at home, and staying more away from fast food. Like you said, it is cheaper & healthier!!

i swear nothing will ever make me fat. i've always been eating all kinds of fast food and junk and i don't gain anything.

I saw that documentary. Everybody should see it. Now I rarely eat fast food. If I go out to eat, it's subway or Quizno's. :D

:nod: really it makes no sense to get rid of the supersizing. They're gonna lose ALOT of money doing that. If people want supersizing then they'll just go somewhere else or order 2 or 3 large fries

i'm 135. i have a 32" waist though and i'm 5'10 so it looks like i weigh less. :grr: i've always been skinny though. i used to obsess over gaining weight because i hated it but i dont care now.

and it's weird. earlier this year my dad put me on some pill to increase my appetite and i gained 30 lbs and looked just the same. i guess i'm just empty :lol: i stopped taking the pill though and my weight went back to normal.

I remember that all oh-too-well. Like in one of the threads I posted back on the first page, I mentioned that I went to a Hardee's a few years ago and I ordered a medium cup of soda. To me - that should be 12 oz, right? I went to the window and nearly gave myself a heart attack when the girl at the window handed me a GIGANTIC cup. That's why I blame it solely on people, not McD's. They serve what people buy. If people keep buying it, they'll keep serving it. Stupid lawsuits aren't going to stop that. It's purely the stupidity of this country.

Amen. You can only eat so much fries and burgers before you tire of it. :faint:

Their burgers started tasting funny to me too so that was another reason for me doing away with fast food altogether. :)

The one thing I used to love at MacDonalds was their Big Mac. Then they started shrinking the burger and cutting down on their special sauce. If I wanted just a plain Hamburger I would have ordered one.
