As many of you know awhile back I posted some VCD quality episodes of Mama's Family's. Well recently, I purchased a DVD burner, and a new video capture card. So I decided to take on the task of recording the episodes ALL over again. I asked myself, "Is this really worth it." After recording just the first episode I realize it's VERY worth it! I'm very excited about redoing my collection and wanted to share with you guys and gals. Not to mention, nobody's heard from me in awhile on here..lol.

Sadly, I will not be uploading these DVD quality episodes, as there almost 1GB a piece!!! However, maybe when I'm all done, I can work out a deal with whoever wants to burn to them to DVD. Who knows, that a couple of months down the road. Anyway, below is a glipse into the VCD quality (with my old crappy video capture card), and DVD quality (with my new 'best investment I ever made' video capture card.)

I have a capture card myself. I use the high quality DVD capture like you did and then I use Dr. DivX to bring the file size down a lot. it really saves DVD space when you do this and it offers a smoother transition when you burn to DVD.
