It's hard to really name a favorite,although I must admit Granny was the funniest-and she carried the comedy in soooo many ways.Jethro had his moments,too.It turned out the more he thought he knew about city life,the more he didn't know.Mr.Drysdale's greed provided the funnier times-with Miss Hathaway being the only voice of reason in many of the shows.Jed was a fine character,having more common sense than anyone.Elly May was a lovely young girl whose independence and love of animals was what I initialy admired.(The older I became, the more I found to admire about her.WOW!)
