I have never been to Sam's Club and didn't know there is a membership fee. If that's the case then maybe it was a bargain! :D

Went for the first time just briefly one summer Saturday when we visited my uncle. He was a member there and had to show his card to get us in. Very strange.

We have to show ours too, but the people at the door look like they couldn't care less. I think you could flash them that gift card and they wouldn't notice the difference.
