View Full Version : Cruelty Against Animals
Chambers 11-30-2004, 06:03 PM Dressing up your pets in adorable little outfits is absolutely atrocious. It should be outlawed.
...but doesn't he look cute??
Go ahead and post pictures of what terrible things you've done to your pets.
Caffeine King 11-30-2004, 07:31 PM I'll have to take some pictures later but I tease my dog and put a flower in HIS fur for like a second :p
I also put this winter hat that I have on him and pretend that he's a DJ and I do tons of other things to annoy him (the poor thing he has the patience of a saint with me! )
He usually gives me a filthy look or does a heavy sigh. :D :D :)

Yes...gotten a lot of those. I really shouldn't admit this, but I once dressed him up in a dress. And tied matching ribbons around his ears. I've also made him wear socks. That only lasted a few seconds, though.
-*Forever*- 11-30-2004, 08:00 PM I used to have a picture of my puppy in a purple lei. But it's gone *sigh*
I'm sorry, but I don't consider putting animals in human clothes
to be animal cruelty, in fact I think it looks good a lot of times.

Clip-on earrings would look good, too.

Georgia's on my Mind 11-30-2004, 09:57 PM omg, this reminds me of the story that my diction teacher told me today...she was directing a performance of the wizard of oz and they had children playing the munchkins, and they hired a professional actress to play dorothy who was a diva...and all the kids hated her and she hated the kids...they also had a real life dog as toto and since it wouldnt stay in the basket, they put it on a leash...and apparently the actress playing dorothy, during a performance grapped at the leash so hard she broke the dogs neck and it died right on stage...and she continued to drag the dead dog and continue acting...as all the kids were crying...omg...i was dying when i heard this story
phoebe7165 11-30-2004, 10:49 PM I love those pictures of those dachshunds!! That's because I grew up with doxies and I have 4 right now.
I think the worse thing I've done is a couple years ago, I took 2 of my dogs to Petsmart to get their picture taken with Santa. I had one of my dogs wear reindeer antlers and my other dog was wearing a red & green bandana for the photo.

Holy crap...
crystals 11-30-2004, 11:54 PM I sometimes put a santa hat on my cat during Christmas which my cat just takes off right away after I put it on him. Sometimes I put a bandanna on him, too. I don't know if there are any pictures of my cat dressed up around, but if I find them or take more photos this Christmas I'll try to get around to posting them.
