I loved this episode too,and although I didn't fully understand how Mr.Epps felt(when I first saw it I was 10),the more I saw of it in reruns,the more I could sympathize.

Remember when Elly said that she would be going to,"cool school,"so she could learn to dance and,"be a jerk like Jethro."Epps said, "Honey,you dance the jerk.Jethro's no...on the other hand,maybe you've got something."

I sure liked episodes which showed Elly May in different kinds of clothes.She was gorgeous in a gown or a swimsuit-which is why my favorite episode featuring Elly was Elly At The Movies.("Paw was right!Fellas are more fun than critters.")

My favorite episode featuring Jed was Jed Cuts The Family Tree,where he turned down the chance to be listed as one of the First Familes.("What would an old mountain-goat like me have to say to the President an' Congress?")

My favorite episode featuring Jethro was when he was trying to be a Double-Naught Spy.("I'm Double-Naught Ten.That puts me a naught up on 007.")

My favorite episode with Granny was when she challeneged the Weather Bureau-and won.("My weather-beetle is kickin' his legs.It's gonna rain.")

My favorite episode with Mr.Drysdale was when he was confronted by Jed with showing them all their money-in cash!("It's not,'cash,'cash.It's invested in stocks, bonds,loans,primaries-")

My favoites were when they went go visit Hooterville in the Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes.
