Does anyone remember seeing any of the actors of Good Times that appeared on other shows either as guest stars or the main lead during the time they were appearing on Good Times or after the show was cancelled?


I have seen Jimmie Walker on acouple of episodes of the Love Boat during and after he was JJ on Good Times, also Jan'et Du Bois appeared in an episode of The Love Boat as did Bern Nadette Stanis...Also I have seen Esther Rolle on the Incredible Hulk and on the ill fated The New Odd Couple...

John Amos went from Mary Tyler Moore into Good Times and returned for a final appearance in that show in the 1976-77 season. I remember Ben Powers being a regular participant in game shows around 1979 or 1980 but I can't recall exactly which show, it was one where they did charades and he was doing the same types of impersonations he did in Good Times.

Speaking of Games Shows I was wating the GSN, and there was Jimmie Walker on the Match Game '76 as a celebrity panelist with Betty White and Richard Dawson, it was hilarious:lol:
