I saw that movie, that was a loooong time ago! It was pretty good as I remember. She won an Oscar for it, her first time ever in a movie! Her character was a former student at a school for the deaf, who worked as a custodian there, and William Hurt was a new teacher who tried to draw her out of her shell, learned her secrets, and fell in love with her.

She won a oscar for that movie? Good for her. I don't mean to get off topic but have you seen the movie Blink with Madeleine Stowe & Aidan Quinn? That's a good movie. Madeleine's character was blind in the movie & Aidan was a cop. She had witnessed a murder & he helped her out & fell in love with her. Madeleine is one of the most slept on actresses of all time. I think she's very good. I've seen a lot of her movies cause i think she's so attractive. She's very beautiful. I saw her in Revenge movie with Kevin Costner & Anthony Quinn. She got her ass kicked badly in that movie & she died in a whorehouse.
