In my opinion, Eddie Murphy has not only been in some great movies. But some of those movies have spunoff some great soundtracks. I really didn't notice till recently I went through the soundtrack section of my album collection and a number of them were Eddie Murphy movies.

Beverly Hills Cop & Beverly Hills Cop 2 are my favorite Eddie soundtracks. I'm trying to get Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack on cd. I really like Junior's Do You Really Want My Love song & The Pointer Sisters Neutron Dance song on that soundtrack.

I have the soundtrack to Eddie Murphy's movie Boomerang and it's really cool and did you know that the Boomerang soundtrack was actually the album that made Toni Braxton a huge mega star in R&B music by having two songs featuring her. But it was a song called Love Should've Brought You Home that was featured in Boomerang that made Toni Braxton well known. And another fact about my copy of the Boomerang soundtrack is that it's autographed by Eddie Murphy too
