They say "Sit, UBU, Sit. Good dog". This is as a tag (ad) for the production company UBU Productions, which produced Family Ties (as well as Spin City). If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me. Also, be sure to visit my web site where you can find a lot of information about the show. The commercial actually says "Sit UBU sit. Good Dog. Woof!" that's it. just had to get it right. bye hofverberg 08-15-2000, 07:16 AM Hi again, Yes, thatīs completely right. I forgot the "woof" part. But of course, it should be "Sit, UBU, Sit. Good dog. Woof!", which is said during the time the logo for UBU Productions (the executive producer Gary David Goldbergīs company) is shown at the end of the closing credits of each episode. And by the way, where did you get the name "Michael" from (in the last message in this thread)? Sincerely, Daniel Hofverberg Webmaster, Family Ties Home Page http://www.familyties.f2s.com TJ 12-06-2000, 04:38 AM A bit of useless trivia is that Gary David Goldberg's dog's name that he had in college was Ubu.. now you know.. [This message has been edited by TJ (edited 12-06-2000).] hofverberg 12-06-2000, 06:23 AM Completely true. Thatīs where the company name UBU Productions came from. This was revealed in the "behind-the-scenes" program Inside Family Ties, I donīt know if it has been mentioned somewhere else or not.
