Liam is right. I need to get rid of my tapes. I'm about to put auctions up on ebay selling them as blank tapes because I don't have room for them, I cannot move them with me. So there might be someone out there that can't afford a $50 DVD set (and how many, 6 of them? $300?) but can buy the set I have that's about $260 cheaper than you can get in the stores.

Oh ok, then that makes more sense since you are selling them as blanks. I thought u were advertising the Show when people can buy the DVD. And I only said that because I thought in the tape trading community it was all about getting things that you couldn't get in the stores or from TV.

Unless I'm mistaken, it seems to me that when Nanny Fine posted the selling of her tapes initially she actually stated something like "selling them as blanks", but when she edited the post later, she accidentally erased that part of one of the paragraphs.

Even if she wasn't selling them at 'blank' prices, I'd have jumped at these if there were more pre-1970's shows that I'm looking for. It goes without saying that she wouldn't have charged a price equal to DVDs in the store.

The last time I checked, DVD were in between $15 and $30

DVD series sets are not $15. If I were to buy the entire series of FRIENDS it would cost me about $500 total. I ahve them all on tape, most of them from first NBC run.

This is my last try to get rid of these tapes and then they are being erased. I have to get rid of them. I was hoping someone would want to take a chance and get some good shows pretty cheap.

I'm asking $2.00 per tape for tapes that I do not have labeled. They have shows on them, I just don't have lists.

I'm asking $5.00 per tape with shows that are labeled. I think that is reasonable ~ I wouldn't ask more than that because there are so many shows on one single tape ~ which isn't all that bad.
