Anybody Ever Heard of The Black Family Channel?

I just discovered it on my Free-To-Air satellite dish the other day. I have like 10 new channels including Pet Channel, and an all gay porn channel (and no, I don't watch it- so don't ask). :eek:

So is there any older shows that air on the The Black Family Channel? I don't have a listing of the new channels I just got. :(

It's the old MBC network. It was just renamed to the Black Family Channel. MBC used to air Roc, other than that they had no other series programming, other than original crap. TV One is much better.

Ahh! Okay.

So I guess you recommend me to add that channel to my Skip Option on my TV remote. :)

I know the cartoon channels Teletoon Detour and Teletoon Retro will be added in January. But I will also get two more stations in December Turner Classic Movies Canada and Cine Pop. Do you know of any information about those two stations? Cine Pop almost sounds like a music channel. :)

is it on dish Network 500 any classic shows n there form 70s or 80s

We just recently had that (Black Family Channel) added to our cable lineup the same time we got GoodLife. Nothing there worth watching for me, unless I'm in the mood for gospel shows or college football games from three years ago. Hard to believe they ever had anything remotely worth watching like "Roc." I wish I had TVOne.

Another channel that was added to my new channels is Atom Television. Does anybody what kind of programs that channel focuses on? :)

I don't have a listing of the new channels I just got. :( Yes I heard of it....We have Digital Cabel and we can get "The Black Family Channel,Nick gas Nick toons boomerang which is another cartoon network that plays smurfs and stuff if we pay them extra money and since we aren't when I turn to the channel I see call your cable company to order.Mel :cool:

Never heard of it, until now. We just don't get a lot of those channels I guess.
