View Full Version : Fave Quote Brett Ferino 03-29-2001, 09:05 PM What is your favorite quote? Jason Cromer 03-29-2001, 10:41 PM I have several actually: Harris: (referring to a broken fan) It can't be turned on. It's not doing anything. Fish: That's exactly what I said to Bernice. Yemana: (to a visitor to the 12th after Fish walked by dressed as a woman for mugging detail) We're plainclothes officers we can wear whatever we like. Yemana: (after eating Wojo's brownies) Anybody seen my legs? They're about this long. 10 toes. One of them's busted. Harris: (after eating Wojo's brownies) Barn, if I can't drive a car, I certainly better not drive a bus. ailsagirl 09-19-2001, 10:15 PM So many favorites but one I particularly love is when the psychic guy (the one who played the werewolf in a previous episode) picks up Barney's vibes. (Barney is very ticked-off because Lugar is being inordinately obtuse, in that he's got Barney cornered in his office, palming off his boring administrative work on him, and, probably worst of all, declines the olive loaf sandwich that Barney picked up for him.) Barney and Lugar are standing next to the cage (in which the psychic is being held) and the psychic says, "I sense resentment... I sense frustration... OLIVE LOAF!" Then, to Barney's horror, the guy gathers up all his energy, points an accusing finger at Lugar, and yells, "Lugar?? DO YOUR OWN DAMN WORK!!!" (Lugar leaves soon thereafter..) daisy73 12-02-2001, 01:22 AM Wojo: "I'm not Stoopid!" HepburnA1 12-03-2001, 06:00 PM How about one of the ones with Linda Lavin as the 'female' detective, particularly the one where she and Wojo have to pose as husband and wife to catch a hotel thief. Bellboy/hotel clerk: Enjoy your stay(something like that), Mr. and Mrs. Wojnawitz. Wojo: Wo-jo-ho-icz. (I'm pretty sure I'm misspelling that http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif) You say it the way it's spelled. Or, any of the quotes from the infamous brownie episode. Barney: The lab results just came back. You were right, it's hash. Harris: (with an ear-to-ear grin) And I made a pig of myself. Fish: The first time in twenty years I felt this good, and it has to be illegal. How about the one where Wojo was protective of the Native American who wished to die in the park; there was a subplot about a woman whose shoes were stolen at the bus stop. Woman: Sex offender?! Have I been violated? Harris: Metaphorically maybe. JPEVEY 01-30-2002, 03:18 AM There were so many but here goes: Deitrich: Tell me Nick, do you ever miss the temples of your homeland, the terraced fields, the blossems? Nick: I was raised in Omaha. Deitrich: We have a town in Nebraska that sounds just like that. |
