A few days ago I saw part of the crawl line on one of the cable news staitions that said ---Melcher age 62 had died. The only Melcher I know of is Doris Days son. It would be the right age. Has anyone heard of this?? If so its so sad. The crawl line went so fast I didn't catch anything else, such as way of death.

Yes, it was her only child Terry Melcher who died at 62 of melanoma. In addition to his undoubtably grief-stricken mother, he leaves behind a wife and a grown son named Ryan by a previous marriage. :crying:
