I Just watched it again last night. Its at least in the top 5 episodes. Its very very very funny. And some classic Fred "put em up" parts in it. I love the part when Jr knocks over the lamp and fred says get the hell out of here. And then fred looks at him scared and says dont ever hit your manager. A great part. The best part is oviously the end fred looks obnoxious in his fighting gear. Also inlcudes grady and lamont in the eps... I think its deff in the top 5. Everybody seems to overlook it i dont know why.:p

I Mean fred in the ring at the end has to be one of the single most funniest momemts of the whole entire run of sanford and son. And when fred came out in his long draws his robe and his bright yellow shorts. ANd his stomach sticking out. OMG LOL! If you watch even Lamont cracked a unexpected laugh that im 95% sure was not planned. It was just to funny seeing fred like that. NOt to mention when he got in the ring and danced around priceless!

Lamont: Pop what are you doing dressed like that??

Fred: What do you think im dressing like this What do you think im selling sherbert.

Lamont: now wait a minute i gotta draw the line somwhere! Im not gonna let you go in the ring and fight

Fred: IM not talking about fighting im talking about wrestling thats where the real money is .

Lamont: (looks at him confused) Wrestling?? What are you gonna call yourself Gorgeous Junk! How about Kid Rust!

Fred: (looking at him with that big dummy look)

I think Golden Boy may now be my new favorite episode now. I cant believe it gets overlooked.

I like the part where Fred kept sitting in the chair with the wet paint.

I didn't care for this episode. This was when the show started to slide.

Lamont: "Yerby? Don't tell me you are mixed up with him again?"

It was OK, but to put it in the top 5? I wouldn't be willing to do that.

I also thought that the guy who played Junior His acting was weak.

Well there wasnt much acting to do fo the guy who played Jr. He had to play a dumb big boxer. I thought he did a good job.

"Golden Boy" probably IS one of the top episodes of Season 4. There are a lot of great one-liners and hilarious situations with Fred.

I also like when Grady was trying to put the mouthpiece in Junior's mouth before the fight.
