Scott Stapp is up their with Robert Plant and Mick Jaguar as a great rock frontman. The cd is on sale for $10 and has all the music videos on a bonus dvd. these guys rocked and I will miss them

Instead of buying that, I spent my money on a real CD today.

Boy. It's a good thing Robert Plant and Mick Jagger aren't dead. They'd be spinning in their graves right now.

Here's the cover of one of the greatest albums of all time. It also depicts where any CDs by Creed belong.

Creed had some good stuff. Of course they could never top Ashlee Simpson.

Ah yes, the old "we've broken up, but here's a gretest hits album so we can get one more paycheck" trick...

;)

Thanks. :tiphat:

I mean, I like their stuff. I don't really pay attention to any religious overtones, but musically, I like it. On a pure rock music level, what can I say, I like them. Maybe everyone else saw something I missed. I was basically only familiar with their most popular songs anyway (Higher, My Sacrifice, With Arms Wide Open). Those songs rock, what can I say? Shoot me already!! (don't really)

Hey, to each their own. I used to like their stuff, but then everything started to sound the same, to me anyhoo. I didn't pay attention to the religious overtones either, when I liked them.

Don't worry, I'm unarmed.

The reason I never liked them is because Scott Stapp seemed like he was trying to sound like Eddie Vedder.

On top of that, the guitarist(?) once said in an interview that Creed was better than Pearl Jam.

Why does everyone have to copy him, anyway?

Yeah, I didn't know about that either. Hmm, one week after Pearl Jam's Greatest Hits comes out, we get a hits collection from Creed. Coincidence...?

I found it sickening that Creed's albums were going diamond while Pearl Jam albums couldn't even make platinum.

Blame Eddie Vedder. They stopped making videos. We may wish otherwise, but MTV exposure means alot.

Creed has got some good songs....I wouldn't compare them with the Rolling Stones or Led Zepellin though.

Here's a list of videos they've made:

From Ten (1991):
Alive
Even Flow
Jeremy
Oceans

From Yield (1998):
Do The Evolution

From Riot Act (2002):
I Am Mine

So that's only three studio albums represented, out of seven.
