OK, I only remember a few parts of this so could you all help me out?
This was one of the last cases profiled and this involved a middle-aged couple who'd never married but had lived together for over a decade and had been considered family by the man's brother and sister-in-law.
Anyway, what seems to have happened was this. The woman had developed a serious gambling problem and the boyfriend was seen confronting her about it in a bar and that was the last time anyone saw him alive. Next thing she started telling everyone he'd gone on a cross-country trip to parts unknown and wasn't sure when he'd be back.
What broke the case was when the boyfriend's sister-in-law started asking the girlfriend about when she was going to return the ATVs she'd borrowed and the girlfriend made zillions of excuses for months about why she couldn't open the garage for the sister-in-law to retrieve the ATVs so finally in frustration the sister-in-law said that if she didn't open the garage to give her the ATV's,she'd get a court order to get them retrieved. The very next day the girlfriend called the sister-in-law and told her to come over. The garage was still padlocked but the ATV's had been moved OUTSIDE. Shortly after this the girlfriend took off and the sister-in-law got suspicious of that garage and called authorities who discovered the boyfriend's gunshot-murdered body covered in layers inside the garage.
I think they did have an update on it but I don't recall what it said or the names, etc. Does anyone else have a clue about the outcome?

Yes, the man's name was Mike Tlusty and his live-in girlfriend's name was Laura Law. I believe it was snowmobiles, not ATVs, but after the police were able to get in the shed I think they found his body in there. She has been arrested for his murder. Here's more info on the story:

Here's the final outcome: In 2003, Laura Law pleaded guilty to the murder of Michael Tlusty, and was sentenced to 24 years in prison.
