I turned off a Jets/Dolphins Monday Night Game and the Jets made a unbelievable comeback. I can't remember the year. Somewhere in between 1997-2001

Dude, I remember that game. I stayed up really late, even though there was school the next morning. I think that was in '99.

But there was a Viking playoff game back in '97, when they were facing the Giants. They were down by like 17 points with half the 4th quarter gone, and I turned it off. So later that night, I find out the Vikings won. I was like, "WTF???"

I turned off that memorable playoff game between the Bills and the Houston Oilers.

I watched that one until the end - it was like 27-3 Dolphins at one point I think. Based on where I was when I was watching it I would say the game was no earlier than 2000. Funny thing is I was watching it with a really rabid Dolphin fan who was throwing stuff at the TV.

And Brian that Bills game I will never forget - too bad you tuned that one out. I remember my brother had a bet on the Oilers.

The Bucs and Colts game where the colts scored 3 TD's in late 4th quarter and later in OT won with a field goal. I turned to abc after raw was over and suddenly suprised to see that colts came back.

The only time I turned off a memorable game was not a TV game, but rather a radio game. I was listening to the Ohio high school baseball championship game June 8, 1997, between Hamilton (my alma mater) and a Toledo school whose name I forget (Start? St. Johns?). Hamilton was down 7-3, I turned off the radio, but Hamilton came back to win the state championship, as well as the #2 national ranking in one of the major polls (USA Today?), by scoring five uanswered runs. :)
