Yes, both John and Joyce smoked. They quit while they were doing "Three's Company".

Yeah, but this is what some posted about this topic in another forum (reffering to John):

Now that you mention him smoking in the movie, I remember seeing him take a drag and it coming out through his nose without gagging. I don't think someone who isn't used to the smoke could do that without coughing up a storm. :confused:

That's true. John & Joyce did smoke. Its in the "Come & Knock on your Door" book. But they did quit before the end of TC.
