At any rate, though I'm 16, I see it fit to answer.

I was always into slightly older girls, much more mature, but en generale I like girls who are themselves and intelligent.

Also, I dont like for girls to look like whores, but if you dont have a naturally good complection a nice foundation can be good. I also pretty much hate perfume, I think alot of guys do, though I'm not entirely sure.



Anyhow, for the record, the "I just woke up 5 minutes ago and didn't have any time to get ready, yet I'm still ****ing hot" look is a real winner.

There is certainly a lot of unnecessary peer pressure out there. It may seem "most girls" are being crushed (no pun intended) by boys, but that's not true. To those who do have crushes/boyfriends, I personally think it's not worth worrying over. You're a young lady who is just growing up naturally. In fact by the time you graduate high school, you'll probably have some girl classmates who will be pregnant or not even be virgins and regretting it all acount on guys "using them" because of their looks. There's no real love connection there. It's not worth it. Just stay the sweet, young lady that you are and don't care for others and their lives. Just live your own life.

If for instance, by the time you and your sister reach high school, she may become sexually active and then later regret those choices (especially if she becomes pregnant, contracts diseases, etc).

The next time these boys call you "ugly," just don't say anything, smile at them and don't let your self get down. A compliment in the sense that they are jealous of something about you. Show them they can't get to you. If they see you crumble, they're more than likely to say it again. If they don't see you crumble, they'll give up knowing they can NEVER get to you.

There are other things to concentrate on before your chosen road: school, degrees to get jobs, friendships, life interests, etc. When the time comes and you are ready, you will know it, and then you'll get that dream guy you desire who will respect YOU for YOU and not of your looks. But 13 is still quite young, in my opinion. :)

If your family says ur pretty, then u probably really r, you just don't know how to show off ur good looks yet. For example, I was always a pretty little girl. People would tell me how cute i was as a little kid. When I was around 10-13 years old, I didn't know how to dress and wear my hair. I was still cute, but I was still dressing like a little girl. Once I got to high school, I started to copy all the older high school girls; wear my hair down, wear a LITTLE eyeshadow, wear nice clasy but casual clothes, and i wasn't so geeky looking anymore. Once I got my image together, more guys started to talk to me. So basically, i went from an adorable baby, to a cute little kid, to a nerdy looking preteen, into a sexy conservative looking young lady. My point is, try to dress more like the girls a little older than u, not too much older, but they can show you what's in style. Don't worry, you'll learn.

This kind of thread is getting really annoying because all you're doing is complaining looking for sympathy. Its really pathetic how you are complaining because no boys like you and you don't like your looks. Don't do it. There's a lot of online predators and they could lie about their age, their location, etc... and when they tell you to meet them somewhere, they will kidnapp and torture and possibly rape you.

Well it wasn't that i had an online boyfriend and he turned out to be a predator, but some guy on this board was obsessed with me and PMed occasionally and said things like "i:loveya:safety pin." i dont want to repeat the whole story though, it's too disturbing. but just take my word for it. i reported him to TJ and he banned him.

That's right. in fact, none of us on this board can be sure anyone else is who they say they are. but of course there are safe ways to talk to people online. just don't give out any personal information (your full name, your street address, your phone number etc) and you'll be fine. it's also recommended you don't post pictures of yourself. that's what started the thing with my stalker, so i've stopped posting pictures of myself. the less information about yourself you give out, the safer you'll be. so if you do want to talk to a boy, that's fine, just be safe and he can't harm you.

You don't just go out and hunt for a boyfriend, especially on the internet. relationships form when a boy and a girl (or a girl and a girl. or a boy and a boy :grr: ) develop special feelings for eachother and want to be close to eachother. unless you really like and trust your significant other, and the feeling is mutual, it's not a real relationship.

A chat room is about the dumbest place to go to find a boyfriend. Talk to boys at school whom you consider friends. Maybe something will happen eventually. If not, who cares? You really shouldn't care about what others think of you. If you have confidence in yourself, your time will come. Nobody, however, is going to like someone who wallows in self-pity.
