Grace attends a holiday party at Will's mother Marilyn's home and accidentally breaks a treasured Lladro figurine. Will convinces Grace not to tell his mother and to blame the accident on one of the other guests at the party. Elsewhere, Karen's stepdaughter, Olivia, comes to stay for the Christmas holiday. While lunching at the mall they start making fun of people, but Karen's remarks are especially mean and Olivia and her friends take offense.

Notes:

Paolo Presta, who won a guest appearance on "Will & Grace" from Oprah on her "Oprah's Wildest Dreams Show," appears in this episode.

Am I the only one who's pissed that they're finally showing Olivia? She needs to stay invisible, like Stan and... the fat one (I forgot his name).

His name was Mason. And I am a little surprised that they will show Olivia. Why show her now when they didn't even show her at Stan's funeral?

But who knows, it could be fine. Rosario was invisible until the season finale of the 1st season and look how well she worked out.

Yeah, but it was a little different than Rosario. With Olivia, she's been invisible for almost seven years, so the audience has gotten used to her being an offscreen presence. Now all of a sudden she's being shown. It seems kind of cheap, like they're running out of storylines, so they should start revealing the invisible characters now and building storylines around them.

I saw Oprah yesterday and they showed Paolo Presta winning his appearance on W&G.. he really deserved it! They showed him flying to the set and we saw the cast, it was hilarious :D He plays a lawyer who works with Will..

I saw that, too! Paolo plays "Mark" and when he walked in, he called Will "Mark." LOL! Eric McCormack had fun teasing him about that.

I love seeing how fun and crazy the cast is behind the scenes. It must be really fun for them to go to work every day.

The tabloiads are full of lies 90% of the time, so I too would take it with a grain of salt myself.

She seemed VERY sweet and sincere during interviews on Rosie O'Donnel, Oprah, The View, The Ellen Degenerous Show, E, and the season 1 DVD cast interview.

Not that great. The W&G story was so cliched and overdone, and not even all that funny.

Jack & Karen was slightly better, although I'm disappointed they revealed Olivia. I felt that ruined a lot of the mystique about Karen's life at the mansion.

Although I did love Will's line "It's probably a direct result of me not having human contact in the first year of my life."

Agree, slackermonkey. Didn't they already use this type of material a couple years ago when Grace accidently broke Will's garden knome? You could pretty much tell that Marilynn knew that Grace had broke her figurine at least halfway through the episode.

The no human contact was pretty funny and I like Karen walking in with her headphones "Ba-ba-da, be-ba-da!" but otherwise, another ho-hum episode.

Well, another OK episode here, however I really hate having to be forced to laugh in this episode. You know, there are some moments in the scene where Jack and Karen really hit it off and it was real nice to see Shelley Morrison back in the beginning credits too, however lately this seasons episodes IMHO, the jokes are being forced and thus it really hasn't been that much the same since the end of season 5 but if the creators haven't left, than this mess wouldn't have happened in the first place.

Ok episode.. I don't understand why Olivia was so embarassed by Karen.. I thought Karen was hilarious with Olivia's friends  But it was alright.. I knew that Will's mom was messing with them the whole episode..

it was ok but i was thinking the same thing that dynoguy 88 was about almost that whole storyline being used already. i thought i was the only one who was thinking that.
