I was very sure that Jessica Walters played as Barney Miller's wife at some point during show's run.But checking cast members on B.M. sites,there is no mention of her at all.Can someone help clear this up for me?

As far as I can remember Barbara Barrie played Barney's wife the whole run. Maybe JW played the role in a pilot show?

Nope. Abby Dalton played Liz in the unsyndicated pilot. After that, it was Barbara Barrie all the way.
