I'm never embarassed to cry in a movie. I'm such a wuss - it's no secret. I cried in Sense and Sensibility because I was so happy at the ending  I cried today when we went to see Finding Neverland. I'm unashamed :D

It was about 2 Beagles hound dogs and the boy who rasied them, one dies and he puts it in the grave behind his house and the other dog isn't the same. Then a red fern grows on the dogs graves. I have to rent the movie again. I think it was 4th grade when my teacher read it in class, some of the girls were crying.

LucyCompanyPhan 11-21-2004, 11:54 PM Well I myself don't usually cry in movies but My mom cried for an hour after Troy was over. We couldn't leave the theater because she was crying, then after the movie we went to CVS and she was STILL crying in there for another 30 minutes. I never saw someone cry so much because of one character dying.
I'm not embarrassed about crying in movies BUT I'm embarrassed to say that I cried at the end of the bachlorette when she didn't pick Matthew.
CharmBracelet 11-26-2004, 07:57 AM I dont care if people see me crying during a movie,I'm not embarassed by it.I've cried in lots of movies. My concern is not what people will think, its how i'll look when my mascara starts running.;)

She kind of looked like that gal from The Blair Wicth Project when she wassaying she was sorry and stuff running down her face.lol
I do get embarrassed about crying at a movie. I don't want anyone to see me or hear me. That is so silly but that's how I react when I feel myself start to tear up, lol.
I don't think I cried at Steel Magnolias, but I took my two daugters to it with me. They thought it was kinda' dumb and I think they thought I was kinda' silly for likeing it. It was the Lousana boy in me that made me like it.
Keep in mind that that movie was made before Julia Roberts was famous. At that time she was a fresh face with a brilliant smile and a sexy, loveable accent. Now....not so much do I care for her. She's still all right though. My daugther thinks she is homely. I scrunched up my face when she said that. I said, homely? Ah, no, she doesn't look ... homely to me. My daughter laughed.
Sweet Brunette 11-28-2004, 07:25 AM ^ Gosh,i never thought of Julia Roberts as homely. If she's homely, whats pretty? I always thought Julia was breathtaking......
I cried in Pearl Harbor, but for some reason,i tried to hide it from my Josh Hartnett mad friend.I dunno why when i look back, but we were in the cinema and my eyes welled up,and i hid my face.I was so determined not to cry i think because i didn't want my friend to see that Josh Hartnett's death got to me!
ABlairican Pie 12-04-2004, 01:45 PM Moulin Rouge, even though I didn't feel embarrassed to cry. :crying: I saw it about seven or eight times at the theatre, and have it on DVD.
*MIBabe03* 12-04-2004, 02:47 PM Okay this is the first time I ever cried during a movie. That movie was The Terminal, at the very end when he finally went through the doors. God I can't believe I cried.

Get over it. :p Everyone seems to think that crying is a sign of weakness. It's not. It just shows that you aren't a cold hearted, insensitive person. And that's okay...
mister bluster 12-05-2004, 09:58 PM Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Forrest Gump, although it's not as embarrassing to admit to as Snow White might be. I'm not really embarrassed about it with either of them, especially since some football player said today that he cried at The Lion King.
