I'm sorry to hear that. But I'll bet she'll pull through. She's a tough old bird :)

She seems like a really strong spirit. She'll be okay. :)

she was so, so hot in Cleopatra...weird to say that with how old she is now I guess...but they do mention it in the article.

Hopefully she'll pull through. Even though she's in ill health, it would be great to see her do another big screen movie- a really great role, not like 'The Flintstones' or anything. Her performance in 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?' is one of the best I've ever seen.

I've heard of Elizabeth Taylor. That's sad.:( I only have the movie "Cat on the Hit Tin Roof" on VHS. She was also one of Michael Jackson's closest friend. I hope she's feeling better soon.
Elizabeth's gone through a lot, and it seems to me she's had a lot of close calls. I'll bet she'll pull through this one.
It does annoy me when people claim she's the last Classic Hollywood star. Come on, Shirley Temple and Mickey Rooney were stars decades before she was. Oh well.
And anyone else think it's funny she's famous for having violet eyes? I've seen her eyes. They always looked blue to me.

"I've learned to be alone," she told the magazine. "And being without a mate doesn't mean you're alone. I have great friends, and children and grandchildren. And memories -- wonderful memories."
Great quote. I love Elizabeth Taylor.
