These are the reasons why i missed Mr. Roper. Furley was too eccentric for me.

I liked them both in their own way. I liked Furley a tad better because he got more involved with the roomates.

That is what made Furley funny. Roper was funny too, but I like Furley better. He was more wacky :D

If you stop to think about it, when Don Knotts played Barney Fife on "The Andy Griffith Show", Barney acted immature for HIS age!
